The Western Fairs Association is honored to present

annual awards to the best in our industry

Hall of Fame

The WFA Hall of Fame award honors distinguished achievement or outstanding contribution by an individual to the fair industry. Selection of the recipients is made solely by the WFA Board of Governors.

The WFA Board of Governors is not required to select a recipient each year.

Barham Award

Presented in remembrance of Hot Dog on a Stick Founder, Dave Barham, and recognizes innovation, quality and leadership in the field of service.

Merrill Award

The Merrill Award, named in honor of Western Fairs Association Founder Louis Merrill, is given for those entries that clearly demonstrate innovation, vision, and excellence.

Achievement Awards

Bringing home an Achievement Award shows your community that their hometown fair is top-notch and helps you demonstrate to potential sponsors that your event is world-class.

Blue Ribbon Award

This industry recognition program allows member fairs to show their appreciation of individuals or organizations who have volunteered their time and energy in support of their fair.

Years of Service

Length of Service awards recognize members of Western Fairs Association for their continuous service to the fair industry. Awards are given in five-year increments, beginning at 15 years.
